World Card Making Day

Welcome Crafters and Card Makers - On Saturday, October 2, 2021! Today is World Cardmaking Day. Currently, I am in my studio, having a wonderful time assembling miscellaneous cards which I  previously designed but, were waiting to be completed. I am also designing and cutting bits and pieces for my 2021 Thanksgiving Cards. The plan targeted is to get my cards assembled and ready for early mailing! Stayed tuned for a tutorial on my final selection.

Shown here, is a card I have made to order for a friend who needed a sympathy card.

I used Soft Suede cardstock (#115318) for the card base, the embossed inset on the front of the card is Crumb Cake cardstock (#120953) and the embossing folder is Woodland (retired). The insert on the inside of the card is Very Vanilla cardstock (#101650) and the ink used for the sentiments is Early Espresso (#147114). Embellishments are narrow vanilla ribbon from my stash and Geniel Gems (#155500). The sentiment on the outside of the card is from Heal Your Heart, a 2021 Sale-A-Bration cling stamp (#155291) and is no longer available. The sentiment was stamped in a die from Stitched So Sweetly (#151699). The sentiment inside the card is from the Inspired Thoughts cling stamp (155536) in the current Annual Catalog. I stamped the small, falling leaves, both inside the card and on the envelope from the Welcoming Woods photopolymer stamp set (156550) which is in the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog.
